Ways to help keep Single Mother Ahoy going

Times are tough for all of us right now, and a few people have asked how they can help. Luckily there is a way you can support your favourite blogger without it actually costing you anything!

Affiliate marketing

I am an affiliate for several companies. That means that if you click on one of my links, and go on to make a purchase from that site, they will pay me a (tiny) percentage of your total spend, without it affecting the price you pay.

Many bloggers use affiliate marketing as a way of supplementing their income. Some of the larger coupon or money saving pages on Facebook make a significant income from doing this. To give you some idea of scale, last year I made around £60 from affiliate income. Still, it’s a good way for you to support the blog without it costing you anything.

Next time you’re shopping online, please consider using one of these links to complete your purchase…

Search Amazon.co.uk

Use this widget to search for products on Amazon, or click through to the site here.

Paperchase

Well, who doesn’t love stationery. And cards. And those cute little bits and bobs they always have on the tables in there…

Snapfish

Snapfish are great for all sorts of photo printing – from normal prints to photo books to keyrings and cushions. There are usually offer codes etc too so if you’re shopping for photo gifts give me a shout to see if I can find one for you.

Fiverr

Fiverr is a great place to get all sorts of business services – from design work to video editing. nd prices start from, well, a fiver. You can also register yourself as a freelancer on there and sell your services.

Audible

We love Audible in our house; these days you’re more likely to find S listening to an audiobook than watching TV. And on the rare occasion she lets me use our monthly free book credit on myself, I love a good audiobook too!

I Want One Of Those

Great for all sorts of funky gift ideas you won’t find elsewhere.

The Entertainer

My favourite thing about The Entertainer is that you can order online and then collect from your local store – sometimes on the same day!
