Daily hustle can leave you exhausted. Unfortunately, you assume the necessity to re-energize and pamper yourself because you fear using a lot of money. The truth is, you can still have a relaxing time without spending more than necessary or leaving your bank account empty.

Here are some ways you can treat yourself without breaking the bank.

Have a Spa Treatment At Home

Put on relaxing music, light some candles, and diffuse a scent like lavender or eucalyptus- this will set the perfect mood for relaxation. Ensure you’re wearing a fluffy gown and comfortable sandals. Apply a facemask or steam your face by preparing hot water with essential oils. Cover your head with a towel to trap the steam from escaping and let steam open up and unclog your pores. Add some rose petals to your bath water and soak in it for super smooth skin. Remember to pamper your hair too, with a mask or a special treatment. If you have the possibility, get a full body massage.

Go Shopping… Online!

Shopping is so refreshing but it often you come across things you can’t afford or aren’t willing to spend so much on. Going to a mall can leave you sad because you can’t afford everything you’ll come across. Nonetheless, you can choose to shop online where there are plenty of websites that offer better prices or even occasional sales than physical stores and boutiques. This is especially true for designer items! So, if you’re a fashion junkie, definitely check out websites like Luisaviaroma (LVR) where you can find a lot designer brands. Remember, this is a onetime thing (in a year), and you deserve the best.

Have some Me-Time

Having personal space helps you unwind all stress as you do things you used to enjoy before obligations increased. Focus on something you used to love doing. Catch up to your favorite series or check a new one from Netflix. Alternatively, look for an outdoor exercise like pruning your garden, flowers, or footpaths. Plant different kinds of flowers that bring positive energy to your home. Make a cocktail and sit on your deck as you sun bask. While at it, read a good book or magazine.

Exercise

Some workouts, like yoga or bodyweight exercises, do not require equipment. You can watch all types of workout videos on YouTube and try them at home. Jogging and hiking, followed by a bath, can refresh your body too. Consider nature walking which is very beneficial to the mind and body, as well as a great opportunity to come across new different species of birds, plants and animals.

Get a Fresh Look

Changing up your look is always something that makes you feel renewed and helps boost your self-confidence. To start off small and not spend too much, get a nice haircut and maybe a color touch-up. This will make you feel fresh and it doesn’t cost much.

Try Something New

When did you last take a photo besides using your phone? Consider busting out your camera and going for a walk to take photos. Alternatively, take pictures of other things like birds, your pet, anything that you like but photography is a great way to be creative and relax. Write a journal or even a few pages of random thoughts: this is especially important because it helps you express what you feel.  Other activities you can try are drawing and painting.

There is a wide variety of things you can enjoy without spending much or in some cases even at all. These activities are all fulfilling and you’ll walk back to your routine feeling like a new person.

What other things can you do or do you enjoy doing to pamper yourself?
