Welcome to this week’s card reading, which is using the Daily Guidance From Your Angels deck.

Here’s how this works: take a deep breath and calm your thoughts. If you have a specific question, hold it in your mind as you look at the image below, and choose the card or cards you feel most drawn to. Once you’ve chosen your card, scroll down to take a look at your reading.

Next week’s reading could be with a different deck of cards. Keep an eye out on Facebook for a poll as to which one I should use.

Don’t forget to please leave a comment either here or on Facebook (or you can send me a private message if you prefer) to let me know how you get on. I really appreciate your feedback as it helps me to know not only that you’ve read the post, but also that you have found it useful and want me to continue with these readings.

I’m working on getting a proper shop set up on the site, so hopefully you will be able to order through there soon!

Here are this week’s cards:

1.Reward Yourself

You’ve been giving a lot of yourself lately, and it’s time for you to receive. Make the time to reward yourself in a meaningful way. This balance of giving and receiving is essential to keeping your energy, mood and motivation at a consistently high level.

This time of year can be stressful and we can spend a lot of time running around trying to get fifty things done. This card is here to remind you that while you’re busy doing things for other people, it’s also important to take time for yourself. Even just a few minutes to sit and read a book or to just stop and catch your breath can help. You don’t need to have a lot of time in order to reward yourself. Look for little things you can do each day as a reward, to balance out everything you have been doing for others lately.
This week, commit to spending half an hour each day doing something just for you: reading a book; enjoying a coffee in a coffee shop; going for a walk. You’ll feel the difference quickly!

2. Be Honest with Yourself

Look into your heart and you will know the truth of this situation. It’s safe to admit the truth to yourself, for we will support and guide you through any necessary changes. Lean upon us for courage and the strength to take good care fo yourself. Focus only upon your true desires, and they’ll come to you upon angels’ wings.

You already know the truth of this situation; perhaps you just don’t want to face it, and to deal with the consequences of that? This card is here to tell you that it’s time to face up to that truth, and to be honest with yourself. The truth will come out one way or another, and the longer you leave it the harder it will be so better to get it over with now, and deal with the fallout. Focus upon what it is that you truly want in your life. Anything that is not a part of that will not benefit you. You may feel guilty for how this may affect others, but the truth is that if the situation is not right for you, then your being in the situation is not right for others who are involved in it. Ask your angels and spirit guides for help if you need it, but above all be honest.
This week, commit to be honest with yourself, and to not turning away from how uncomfortable that might be.

3. Heart Chakra

Love is the heart of the matter. Your heart is the centre within your physical being attuned most to love. It’s safe for you to love an dbe loved with an open heart, as we stand by with perfect protection and guidance.

The focus of this card is on love – not only romantic love but an unconditional love for all beings. We often close ourselves off from the openness of love; things can happen that make us feel it’s safer to build a wall and hide our heart behind it for fear of being hurt. The truth is that we need love in order to flourish in this world, and being in fear of pain is not a great way to exist. Work on opening your heart, and practising all forms of love, especially self love.
This week, focus on being more open and loving in every situation. Send love to the people you would usually judge or dislike. Put your hands on your heart and tell yourself, I love you.

4. Have Confidence

Moving forward does not necessarily require you to have confidence in yourself. Confidence in God is enough, along with knowing that God works through you and with you in all ways. Lean upon us if your confidence wavers, and we will buoy your courage and faith.

There are many things in this life that can cause us fear, and moving forward in any aspect of our lives is usually on that list. We can feel shaky and nervous when taking unfamiliar steps but it is important to remember that we are never alone on this journey. As long as you are coming at this situation from a place of authenticity, and know that this is your guided path, there is no need for fear. Have confidence that wherever you are going and whatever you are doing, you are going in the right direction and all is well.
This week, take a deep breath and do the scary thing, knowing that everything is okay.
