Halloween is a great time of year for those of us who enjoy dressing up and painting faces. Now that S is a little older I’m really getting into the whole Halloween thing; just this morning we were talking about going “trickle treating” as she calls it, and she’s keen to use her arts and crafts things to make some spiders and ghosts. She loves to decorate the house and her bedroom with fake spiders and skeletons and all sorts and be all spooky. This year though, something else has caught my eye.

Doesn’t this look so much more spooky than a few fake cobwebs?

These are removable wall murals from Wallsauce.com; they’re made to measure and come in several spooky designs. From pumpkins and black cats to misty forests and graveyards, moons and bats, you can choose your favourite and have it made to fit the specific dimensions of your room.

The designs are printed onto peel-and-stick wallpaper and completely removable – so perfect for decorating your home over Halloween…or for longer, if you’re that way inclined!

I like the idea of being able to make such a big, yet temporary change to a room in our home. Being in a rented property we can’t make permanent changes to the decor – but also Halloween is one of those times when you decorate with things you probably would use the rest of the year! Temporary decoration then is the way forward!

We’re thinking about taking our Halloween decoration to a whole new level this October
