Welcome to this week’s card reading, which is using the Work Your Light oracle deck.

Here’s how this works: take a deep breath and calm your thoughts. Look at the image below; if you have a specific question hold it in your mind as you decide which card (or cards) you are drawn to. I usually just pick one, but it’s ok to pick two – or even more if you feel like it! Once you’ve chosen your card, scroll down and take a look at the photo and write-up to see which your card was, and what it means.

Next week’s reading could be with a different deck of cards; keep an eye out on Facebook for a poll as to which one I should use.
Dont’ forget to leave a comment either here or on Facebook and let me know how you get on. I find comments useful not only to see that people have actually read the post but also that you’ve found it useful and want me to keep doing them.

Here are this week’s cards:

  1. Pleiades
    work-your-light-pleiades
Double mission: Channeling and uplifting humanity.

This is a transmission card, connecting you to energies and other realms. Pleiades is a star cluster near Taurus and many people believe the Pleiadeans are a group of star beings who have come to this planet to raise the vibration.
This card has come up to show you that you havea double mission on this earth: firstly to grow on a soul level but also to help to raise the vibration of the planet. That sounds like a massive job but you must understand that even by affecting the life of one person, you can help to raise the vibration of the planet. If you feel you are called to speak, to write or to be otherwise creative, don’t ignore that calling. This week, think about what your calling could be, and take steps towards fulfilling it.

  2. Transformation
work-your-light-transformationThings are changing at a cellular level. Deep healing.

There are big changes occurring in your life; you are experiencing change at a cellular level. The person you were a year or even six months ago may seem like a stranger compared to who you are now.
Transformation can be scary; it involves letting go of a lot of old ways that no longer serve us and that can be frightening. But it is necessary in order to move forward. Right now you are in a state of flux in your life as everything seems like it is up in the air. Old things from your childhood that you thought you had long since dealt with may be rising to the surface; they are rising up to be healed and let go and although this may be difficult, the only way out is through.
There is no point in going through all of this and then continuing exactly as you have before; you are being called to find new ways of living, of coping with the stresses and strains of your life. This week, be kind to yourself as you go through this transformational period. Keep faith that you will come out the other side, and spend time experimenting with different ways to take care of yourself.

  3. Anna, Grandmother of Jesus
work-your-light-anna-grandmother-jesusSeeding the light. Laying foundations. Divine plan.

Anna was an ancient mystic who laid the foundations for Christ consciousness. She represents the quiet dedication of a life of service, and of our ancestors who have come before us and paved the way for the life we now live. The people who planted the trees that now shade us, knowing that they would not benefit from the shade themselves.
This card is here to remind you that every person has a part to play in the world, and none is more important than the other. We cannot all have a starring role, but without those “behind the scenes” quietly fitting the pieces together, the starring roles would not exist.  Whether you help one person or one million people in this lifetime, you are just as important as anyone else. This week, spend time connecting with your spiritual energy and contemplating what your part in the Divine plan might be.

  4. The Crumbling
work-your-light-crumblingWhat are you clinging on to?

When going through times of change, we all experience fear and cling to things from our past that feel safe because they are familiar. This is an inwuiry card, asking you to think about what you are clinging to that no longer serves you. You are going through a time of change right now, and it is natural for things to fall away from us when they have served their use. This could be ways of behaving or even relationships with other people with whom you are no longer aligned. This can be hard to accept but in order for new things to come into our lives, we must let go of what has gone before. Whatever it is you are doing your best to avoid, this card is here to tell you that it might well be time to let go and let it happen. You know the answer deep down, though you may not want to admit it to yourself. This week, take time out to think about what you have been clinging to, and whether it is best left in the past.

Absolutely, beautiful deck, although, some might get offended by the Trinity card spread illustration, within the book (ya know how peeps can be, with symbolism that could be viewed as perhaps, blasphemous)
