S was delighted to be sent two Sing-a-ma-lings for review.

I know what you’re thinking: what the heck is a Sing-a-ma-ling? Well, I did my best to get S to explain for you:

Sing-a-ma-lings are a bunch of huggable little characters with silly voices, who sing – and get you singing too, if you’re four years old and that way inclined (I’ve yet to meet a four-year-old who is not that way inclined to be honest).

Not only that; they harmonise with each other, and with you. S is not showing you this in the video, because when she holds up two together, she gets a bit confused and ends up going into role play mode! They sing their own songs and also have their own language, which is great fun for children to join in with.

You press the Sing-a-ma-ling’s hand to change their mode from sing to jibber jabber to harmonise, and then press their bellies to let them loose! When you press their bellies their mouths open and close as they sing or chatter, which is giggle central for S.

Here is an irritatingly engaging ad which shows how the Sing-a-ma-lings can sing together:

They have their own YouTube channel here too.

S loves her Sing-a-ma-lings, though she doesn’t quite understand the idea of changing their modes with their hands. She just loves to have them chatter and sing with each other, and keeps squeezing their hands and tummies to her heart’s content! They’re so cute and such good fun. When you stop playing with them and put them down, they say “Nighty night!” or “See ya!”

I’ve a feeling the rest of the set will end up on S’s Christmas list this year; she loves them!

I’ve never seen these before, but they would be perfect for my niece who has a birthday coming up. Thanks for the videos!
