Goal for last week
Last week’s goal was to get back on track. I failed miserably! I’ve been so exhausted, and S has taken to waking for several hours in the middle of the night. I’m lucky to make it through the day in one piece at the moment!
Goal for this week
This week’s goal is to eat better. If I’m knackered and not exercising, I know that eating junk will only really make me feel worse. I have a fridge full of salad; time to eat it!
I didn’t manage to exercise at all this week, unless you count frantically tidying the house before the TV people came!
I’m really feeling the difference from not having done any proper exercise for a while. Not just in my lack of energy but my lack of focus or inspiration while I’m working, and most worryingly in my mood. I need to sort it out!
I’ve continued with intermitent fasting, but I’ve been eating a lot of crap instead of sensible meals. I’m just so knackered from lack of sleep! I know that if I make a proper meal and eat some vegetables once in a while I’ll feel better but it all just feels like too much effort! I really need to work on that!

Another week with no change – another sigh of relief that at least it’s not gone up! I really need to get back into exercising and eating properly. I feel like if I leave it any longer then I’ll just start saying “may as well wait til the new year now” or some other ridiculous excuse!
