A Snapshot From Our Weekend 2015-10-27
I fell into the “queueing in Poundland” trap the other day, and came home with a Frozen cake mix set. So of course, S and De Af had a go at them.
Behind S, you can see the carnage that is the corner of my kitchen; we put shelves in, but it’s still the messiest part of the kitchen. Three guesses what the cameraman from ITV decided to point his camera at on Thursday!
On Sunday we went to East Farm Christmas – a gorgeous Christmas shop lit entirely with fairy lights and filled with beautiful Christmas decorations. I was hoping to get loads of photos of S looking at the beautiful decorations… but they had a play area with two dollies and a wooden kitchen, and that took priority!
I did manage to get this photo though; she loved the two massive reindeer outside the door and wanted to have a ride on them! In this photo you can see she’s wearing her super-cool glasses, which turn all lights into snowflakes. She loves them, but it’s sending my electricity usage through the roof because she keeps asking me to switch lights on to check they work!
Our toucanBox from above involved painting clothes pegs black for the bats, so we had to wait until Saturday afternoon to finish off the bunting.
We hung our bunting on the stairs, and S was very pleased with herself, making woo woo noises all the way up and down the stairs.
You can get a free toucanBox here, using the code A101.
Next weekend is Halloween; I’m still undecided on the whole trick or treat thing but we do have about seven different costumes to choose from! I’m trying to persuade S it would be more fun (and warmer) to go to her nursery Halloween party as Sully from Monsters Inc than Princess Anna from Frozen!

That bunting is great. Baby loves dressing up, but we don't agree with trick or treating. I grew up in Scotland and the kids would practice a song or a bit of a play or something, we would then go into the houses and preform, before we got rewarded with sweets etc. Now it just seems like begging x You Baby Me Mummy recently posted...My Happy List #73
