Wow, 29 weeks in…

Goal for last week

Last week’s goal to eat better meals at lunch time… it didn’t go so well! I think I had a couple of days where I ate lunch, and on the others I just sort of snacked a little until dinner time.

Goal for this week

This week’s goal is to do some forward planning! I am spending all of tomorrow at a client’s office, miles from the nearest shop – so I need to make sure I have some healthy food to take with me. But also just generally, I need to plan ahead for the fact that I’m going to want to eat!


I’ve been continuing with PiYo and I’m still absolutely loving it. There was a bonus workout on one of the dvds, which is from another programme called Turbofire. I tried it out on Friday morning, and I’m still 99% sure the dvd was somehow sped up – there’s no way all those people were moving that fast! I definitely have something to work towards. The workouts have been more intense this week, which has been difficult but fun as I do feel that I’m getting stronger and noticing a difference every day.


This week has been a bit up and down. I’ve had days where I’ve eaten well, and days where it’s got to 7pm (my cut-off time for eating) and I’ve not eaten anything resembling an evening meal. I have decent food in the fridge; I’ve just been a bit slack about preparing it. Which I know I am from time to time, so I’m not giving myself a hard time over it. Hopefully I can manage to be a little more organised with my eating this week!

Weight 160.8lb. Last week: 162.6lb. 1.8lb down!
Bust: 36″ Same as last week
R Arm: 12″ Same as last week
L Arm: 12″ Same as last week
Waist: 34″ Last week: 34.5″. Half an inch off!
Hips: 38″ Same as last week
R Thigh: 21.5″. Last week: 22″. Half an inch off!
L Thigh: 21.5″. Last week: 22″. Half an inch off!


I’ll be honest; I was expecting to have put a little weight on this week as I know my eating hasn’t been up to scratch. I think perhaps the exercise intensity has helped.

This week two people told me I looked good and seemed to have lost weight, which is always nice. And last week my mum said “you look like you’ve lost weight” – which is the first time I can remember her ever commenting on my weight. So I must be doing somethign right!

I feel like if I compare myself to first weekly weigh in photo I took (below) my face looks clearer and healthier.

Well done on another great week, I’m still taking a break from having shin splints. I’m having to retink my workout’s as I have just been offered a job in the eveings so don’t know how much I will want to get up in the morning to workout or run. Your post’s each week are really motivating I’m look forward to working out again.
