Hello! How has your week been? I’m having a really positive, productive and upbeat phase at the moment, and I’m doing everything I can to ensure it sticks around!
Goal for last week
Last week’s goal was to keep up with the food and exercise. I’ve actually done surprisingly well at this! Friday was supposed to be my rest day, but I know this Tuesday is going to be super hectic, and I don’t want to miss a day – so I’ve moved my schedule forward, skipped Friday’s rest day and carried on.
Goal for this week
My goal for this week is to work on the nutrition side of things. I tend to get stuck in a rut with my meals for a few weeks at a time, and then get thoroughly fed up and order take out! I need to avoid that happening so I need to branch out a bit.
Exercise
This week I’ve continued with PiYo and have completed my second week. I’m noticing changes already, but more importantly – I actually enjoy the workout, and the feeling I get afterwards
Food/Drink
I’m still doing doing Melissa McAllister’s 8 Hour Ab Diet and getting into a nice routine with it. I might actually do a blog about it, as people seem to have a lot of questions. The only problem I have is on days when S is home with me all day, trying to fit my exercise and evening meal in after she goes to bed. I’ve amended that by starting to eat later on those days though, and so far so good!
Weight & Measurements
Weight 164lb. Last week: 165lb. 1.4lb down
Bust: 37″. Last week: 37.5″. 0.5″ down.
R Arm: 12″ Last week: 12.5″ . 0.5″ down
L Arm: 12″ Last week: 12.5″ . 0.5″ down
Waist: 34.5″ No change
Hips: 39″ Last week: 39.5″. 0.5″ down
R Thigh: 22.5″ Last week: 23″ 0.5″ down
L Thigh: 22.5″ Last week: 23″ 0.5″ down
This week I’ve lost 1.4lb and 3 inches. Since I first started doing PiYo and changed my diet, I’ve taken off 7.5″ and 2.8lb. I’m fairly pleased with that – though I do feel like I expected more to come off my waist. My belly feels different, and while I still have the separated abs and hernia, I feel like my muscles are getting stronger. Hopefully next week there will be a difference on the tape measure!

Thanks Astrid, I’m loving it at the moment – especially this morning when my usual jeans were just too loose and I had to go through the cupboard to find a pair in the next size down!

Well done on both the weight loss and the inches loss. It sound’s like your on a roll with it all now and getting into a nice routine with it all. For me I definitely find thing’s easy once I’ve got into a routine. Keep up the good work

Thanks Sam, I think you’re right – it’s easier once you’re into a routine!
