My Life with S

A Snapshot from Our Weekend 2015-03-17

IMG_20150314_184537On Saturday, we went to a lambing weekend at a local farming college. S nearly popped with excitement: straw bales, animals, baby animals… and tractor rides!

There were lots of tiny new baby lambs to see; S had a good look at every single one.

At one point I went to the toilet… and came back to find S had dragged our friend Sam back in to see the lambs!

This little lamb was a bit more confident than the others!

On Sunday morning, after S spending Saturday with her fringe in her eyes, I gave her a hair cut. Hmm.

SAMSUNG CSCWe had a lazy morning; I cooked a roast for my mum and sister, while S put yet more stickers on her box and sang to herself. In between peeling potatoes, I played with our new camera.

S likes the new camera because there is a green light on the front… I told her it would only come on if she smiled, though.

Hey i have just come across your lovely blog, from #YouBabyMeMummy, #Point+Shoot. We always go to our local lambing weekend, but missed it this weekend. Lovely pictures, looks like your little one had a great time. My daughter was lucky enough last year to get to hold a baby lamb and she was beyond pleased! x

Oh, I'm so jealous! S got to stroke one, but there were so many children around there wasn't much chance to hold one - unless you wanted to pay a small fortune for a photo op!

Looks like a fun weekend. I love her face in the first one. Was there a goat trying to steal her food? Gemma Stevens recently posted...Finding time to blogMy Profile

Argh this is something I am a bit scared of. I'm not sure why. I think I've convinced myself that being around sheep in lambing season makes you ill? I don't know where I got that from but perhaps it was something I read about pregnancy ages ago! Charlotte @ Educating Elsa recently posted...Elsa’s Favourite BooksMy Profile

I think if you're pregnant then you shouldn't go on a farm at all - but other than that, it's perfectly safe. We were given hand wipes as we went in.
