2015 Happiness Project: March Challenge Finale

For those who are not aware, this year I am embarking on a happiness project. In January, I sang every day with S. In February, I attempted to address my health and fitness. I spent March practising gratitude.

Each evening this month I have posted on Facebook a list of three things for which I was grateful that day. These were mostly based on S, if I’m honest – because she is the largest part of my life, and my life mostly revolves around her… plus, ya know, I’m most grateful for her in my life!

At the start of the month, it was hard to think of three things each evening and I would sit there trying to think of something I could write. After a few days though, it did get easier. And when I look back over the month, I do feel like it’s improved my general mood. I feel more chirpy in myself, and less stressed  – which is always nice!

I think this is something I will definitely carry on now the month is over; I feel like it’s a great way to finish a day. I do feel like doing this has made a difference to my mood, and it’s had a cumulative effect so now at the end of the month, I feel a lot more positive than I did at the start.


April begins tomorrow, and with it a new challenge. Watch this space!
