This week, I began my #SomethingFun for Lent challenge. So far we’ve had lots of fun! My plan is that we will continue to do fun things every day throughout Lent, and I hope to take videos as well as photos of this – so do keep an eye out on social media!

Meanwhile, here is this week’s video. I wrote a while ago about S’s recent problems settling into nursery in the mornings. Her keyworker has been fantastic at helping us to overcome this, and last Friday when we arrived she immediately said “let’s go upstairs and choose a story sack for you to take home for the weekend!” I left S not only happy, but holding her keyworker’s hand and toddling happily off upstairs. When I collected her, she had chosen a farmyard story sack, containing several toy animals and several books related to farmyards. We spent some lovely time over the weekend playing with the toys, singing songs and reading books. Of course, after all that fun, he animals needed a nap…
