I love to have others join in with my blog. I run several linkys and also have ongoing projects for others to be involved in…
I co-host the Weekend Blog Hop with Laura from My Life as a Mummy. Each week you can link up your blog home page; we also have a different linky for various social media accounts each week. The first Blog Hop of each month is a bumper edition, with linkys for all social media accounts.
There is also a Weekend Blog Hop Twitter account which we use to retweet posts and other linkys.
The Weekend Blog Hop also has a list of other linkys you can join in with at the bottom of each post. And from the end of May 2015 we will be extending this list to include linkys that are on throughout the week – so you can use it as a resource to join in linkys all week long! If you would like your linky added to the bottom of the Weekend Blog Hop, please either email me at SingleMotherAhoy@gmail.com or leave a comment.
I used to join in with a weekly goal setting linky on The Nectar Collective and when it ended, I couldn’t find any other weekly goal setting linkys to join in with… so I set up my own! The linky opens on a Monday and runs until Wednesday evening. The idea is that you set your goals for the week and then come back the following week, report on how you’ve done and set new goals. It’s open to everyone, with the only rule that you must visit the two people ahead of you and leave a supportive comment.
Wordless Wednesday runs each Wednesday and is a linky for photo posts. I’m not very good at enforcing rules, so you can have some words there – but the post should be mainly photo based. Again, everyone is welcome to join in.
The #DayInTheLife project is open to anyone – whether they have a blog or not. The idea is that you write a brief post about a day in your life, and send it to me with a photo. If you would like to join in with the project, you can fill in the sign-up form here. I will then get back to you with a date for your post. You don’t need to have a blog or a terribly interesting life to take part; the idea is just to see how other people’s lives go, not to wow us all with your amazing life!
There are so many amazing blogs out there, it can be hard to get yours seen – and to find that one blog you really want to read, among the gazillions of others. #LovelyBlogs is an ongoing series of posts where I showcase some great blogs that I think are lovely. The idea is to spread the blogging love to those who could do with a couple more readers and a little more traffic. The only qualifying rules are that you must not be inside the Tots100 top 250, and you must have fewer than 10,000 pageviews each month. If that’s you, why not sign up using the form here!
