This week (after a vote on Facebook) we are using oracle cards rather than angel cards. The deck I am using is the Work Your Light Oracle Cards by Rebecca Campbell. I love them but they are quite different from the angel cards I’ve been using up to now, so I’ll be interested to hear what my readers think!

Here’s how this works: take a deep breath and calm your thoughts. Look at the image below and decide which card (or cards) you are drawn to. I usually just pick one, but it’s ok to pick two – or even more if you feel like it! Once you’ve chosen your card, scroll down and take a look at the photo and write-up to see which your card was, and what it means.

If you would like a personalised reading, I am offering these for free at the moment. Just email your request to vickysreadings@gmail.com – and let me know if you’d like a general reading or if you have a particular question in mind.

Next week’s reading will be with a different deck of cards; keep an eye out on Facebook for a poll as to which one I should use!

Dont’ forget to leave a comment either here or on Facebook and let me know how you get on!

Here are this week’s cards:

1. Council of Light

Divine orchestration. Helpers in the subtle realms.

The Council of Light is a team of beings in another realm who are here to help to raise the consciousness of the whole planet. They have come to help you to do what you set out to do when you came to this world. Think of them as your angels or spirit guides or whatever suits you. They can’t help without your permission though so you need to ask them for help – and then trust the guidance you which receive. You might hear a voice in your head or you might just get a gut feeling about doing (or not doing) something. Pay attention to it! Nothing is too big or too small for your personal team of spirits to help you with – you just need to ask, and listen for the response.

2. Birthing a New Age

Birthing new creations. Dreaming a new world into being.

The world is in a transition period between ages, with old ways dropping away and new ways coming up. This is true for you on a personal level also. This can seem frightening as often we can’t see the way ahead, only that it differs from the path we have walked previously. Instead of trying to see the destination, try to focus only on the next step and follow the yellow brick road to wherever it may lead. Whatever happens will be for your ultimate benefit even if it doesn’t always feel like it on the way. You are part of a group of souls who have incarnated specifically for this time in the Earth’s history – you have a job to do, however big or small.

3. Akasha

Your guidance is divinely guided.

Akasha is the library of souls; it contains a record of every incarnation in history (and future), with details of soul contracts and lessons. Before you were born you made a plan/agreement to do certain things while you are here. This could be to do with a relationship you planned to have, a person you intended to meet and learn from or mentor, or even just a job you planned to do. Whatever it is, it is planned and it will happen no matter what. This card may have come up for you because you have been waiting for a sign to allow you to do something – this is that sign. Whatever it is, you need to get on and do it!

4. Break the Chain

Ancestral patterns. Healing. Rewriting the future.

There is a recurring pattern along your ancestral line – something that repeats itself throughout the generations. You might not even be aware that your grandparents and relations before them dealt with a version of what you are dealing with right now. This card has come to let you know you can break the chain and prevent future generations having to deal with it. You cannot heal another person’s trauma, but you can heal your own and this can help another person to choose to heal. Take a look at your life and make a decision on how you want it to be. you can come out into the light and live your best life, and in the process you will make life lighter for those around you.
