Reasons to be Cheerful 2016-01-28
How is your week going? What are you grateful for today?
We’ve had another week of disturbed sleep, though there were a couple of nights where S slept well. Hopefully we’re on the way out of what has been a very hard few weeks for both of us! Here are three things for which I am grateful this week:
Friends – I set myself a goal to meet at least two friends for coffee every month, and I’m enjoying sticking to that. I’ve been setting up coffee dates not only with “real life” friends but also people I’ve met through my Facebook page, which is absolutely lovely.
Worky Stuff – Last week I gave a presentation to a group of local businesses; this week I’ve arranged to present three workshops over the next three months, I’ve worked on my new Facebook email course and I’ve made some great connections with local businesses. I feel like my work is heading in the right direction and it’s a great feeling because I know I can help lots of people.
Hands Free Life – I bought this book on a recommendation, and thought I might give it a go this week. I’ll be reviewing it on Monday, but for now I’ll just say that it’s changing my life and my relationship with S and I’m loving it.
