Reasons to be Cheerful 2016-01-14
How is your week going? What are you grateful for today?
I’m experimenting with eating proper meals… it’s a bit hit and miss to be honest but I do notice a change on the days I’ve not lived solely on junk food! I think it’s easier to do when S is home and I’m not working; when I’m working it seems like a waste of precious time to go into the kitchen and spend time preparing proper food! Any way, on with my reasons to be cheerful this week…
My Facebook Page – S has been suffering (again) with constipation lately, and people on my Facebook page have been so helpful and supportive while we worked our way through no end of possible solutions.
Support from Friends – A couple of friends have really been pushing me lately to get my business working properly. They pushed me to send a pitch email to someone I would never ordinarily have approached for work, and always make me feel motivated and positive about my work.
Quality Time – I worry that it’s so easy to let the days slip by without doing special things with S, so I set myself a goal to do at least one fun activity with S each week. It’s made me more mindful in general of the time I spend with S, and we’ve had fun times after nursery, enjoying even simple things like just wandering around town together.
I'm also trying to eat better so you can help keep us both motivated :) I do feel so much better for it too although with moving house etc it's been all to easy to get takeaways argh! x x Mim recently posted...Baby Led Weaning with Munchkin!
