Reasons to be Cheerful 2016-01-07
I’ve not done one of these posts for a while but I’ve been very inspired lately. On New Year’s Day Brendon Burchard did an amazing, 4-hour webinar which I found so inspiring and I’m doing my best to adopt as habit some of the things he suggested in the webinar. The biggest one of these is positivity and gratitude – so I want to make sure I can keep up with these weekly posts!
Here are three things for which I am grateful this week:
Returning to routine – I loved, loved, loved our Christmas holidays. I put in a lot of work beforehand to ensure I didn’t have lots of work left hanging over me for the holidays, and also ensured I made plans for S and I as well as making a big list of activity ideas. We had a lovely time – but by the end of the two weeks, we were both a bit bored and ready to get back to our routine. On Sunday morning S woke up and asked if it was a nursery day – and when I said no, she cried! Now that we’re back in our normal routine, I can focus on my business and all the great things I have planned for this year!
The Twelfth Night – We took our tree and decorations down yesterday. S helped to remove decorations and chocolate from the tree, and then we packed everything into boxes and put it away. I then thoroughly enjoyed tidying my living room, moving furniture, getting rid of toys and books that had been hanging around for months. I now have one corner of my living room looking reasonable… only the rest of the room to go!
90-Day Goals Not Resolutions – This year I’m setting myself 90-day goals rather than making resolutions. I’m really excited about the goals I’ve set and the progress I’m making towards hitting them. Watch this space for loads of cool things!
How is your week going? What are you grateful for today?
