Reasons to be Cheerful

Wowsers, the last week in October already. Are you trick or treating this weekend?

Here are my reasons to be cheerful this week:

Big Samaire – Big Samaire (after whom my S is named) is coming to visit us this weekend, and I can barely contain my excitement. We’ve not seen her since she was pregnant, and now she has a 4 month old baby!

Tidy living space – I’m a really messy person. No, you don’t understand… I’m really messy. I’m that person who only tidies when they lose something really important. Last week ITV came to the house to film us, so I had no choice but to tidy the living room and kitchen up. I love having so much floor space in the living room; I want to make more of an effort to keep it this way.

Cuddles  – S is still waking in the night, but she’s also having some sort of developmental leap or something, and being very cute with it. Every time I collect her from nursery she seems to have picked up more words or phrases, new ideas, new songs. She gives me kisses and cuddles for no reason and it is absolutely adorable.

This is the only photo I managed to get of S at East Farm Christmas this weekend. She was more intersted in their play area than all the Christmassy awesomeness!

How is your week going? What are you grateful for today?
