Giveaway: Stampin’ Up! Project Kit

stampinup-giveaway

Last month, Stampin’ Up! conducted a survey across the UK about wedding costs. They asked respondents to stare how much they thought reasonable to spend on a wedding, not including the honeymoon. Apparently, a whopping 62% of respondents believe a wedding should cost no more than £5,000

It seems these days a lot of couples are turning to the personal touch, with DIY projects and a more “vintage” feel not just to save money, but to create lasting memories not tainted by the bill!

Paula Gorry, UK Business Development Manager, Stampin’ Up! UK, comments:  “Spending big is no guarantee of a wonderful day. Couples recognise the sentimental appeal of putting their own stamp on the occasion – whether that’s hand-crafting invites or place-settings, or making their own bouquets.

To celebrate the fact more people are going down the DIY route, Stampin’ Up have provided this Tin of Cards Project Kit as a prize for one of my readers. To enter, simply use this Rafflecopter…

I love stamping, crafts and making cards. I make a lot of celebration cards for my family. This giveaway looks brilliant. To answer your question, the most expensive thing I have bought is my house, and then my Wedding. Both very worth it, though very expensive! Amanda. Definitely, the most expensive thing I've spent money on is the house I'm living in. We decided to build this back in 1996 because we couldn't find one in the area that fit us well. It was a preposterous amount of money at the time, but now it is paid off and we still love this place. It's our dream home and worth every penny.

I've never been big on spending large quantities of money - even when I had some - but I would say that my biggest expenditure was on education as I did a number of qualifications through the Open University. A close second would be camera equipment as I adore photography.
