My Life with S

Reasons to be Cheerful 2015-07-16

Reasons to be Cheerful

S went back to nursery this week, and I attempted to go back to work… it didn’t go entirely to plan, but it’s getting there. And today I’m off to see an X Factor recording, so can’t complain!

Here are my reasons to be cheerful this week:

Being Healthy – After a fairly worrying week last week, S is now fighting fit and back to her usual cheeky self, which is a massive relief for me! This was the first time she had been properly ill for more than a day or so, and it was really worrying and hard for both of us.

X Factor! – TalkTalk offered me tickets for an X Factor filming session, so of course I said yes! Even better, it just so happens that a friend I’d not seen for more than 10 years because she moved to Glasgow, is in the area visiting family this week with her two children – so of course I invited them! I’m not sure which part I’m more excited about!

De Af – I literally could not have got through the last week or so without my sister. She came round to play with S when she was poorly so that I could do some work, and then when S was feeling a bit better we all went out Baron hunting together. Then on Monday, when I was feeling awful, she collected S from nursery for me, brought her home and played with her. Actual legend.

What are you grateful for this week?

It was great fun - but also very hot and stuffy, and it was very long. By the end the crowd was decidedly nonplussed!

It's always a relief after a bout of illness clears up, isn't it? And how fantastic about the X-factor tickets; it sounds like it'll be a brilliant night out for you all.

I could've sworn I had commented on this already, but it might have been through the phone, which doesn't always work. So glad to hear that the beautiful S is feeling better, I do hate my lot being poorly! You would have to pay ME to go to an X Factor recording, but I'm glad you got to spend it with good friends! As always, your sister is a fantastic positive xx Ojo Henley recently posted...Feeling Sorry for Myself! My Profile

I've never really watched X Factor and only went because I thought it was too good an opportunity to miss - but it was actually really good fun!
