Reasons to be Cheerful 2015-07-09
Hello! My week so far has been… not at all as planned! S came out of nursery on Monday saying she didn’t want to buy a drink or a treat; she just wanted to have a sleep in her buggy. She’s been off nursery since, and very pale and hot. All other plans have been put on hold until she’s better.
Here are my reasons to be cheerful this week:
Cuddles – The plus side of having a poorly little chicken is that she wants lots of cuddles. Being a rambunctious, noisy toddler, she doesn’t often stop for cuddles these days – so I’m grabbing them where I can.
Barons – We had a truly fantastic weekend, hunting down Barons from the Barons Trail in Salisbury. S absolutely adores the Barons and we’ve loved finding lots of new ones. The other day we noticed one of the barons had a bit of damage on his cheek, and she’s not stopped talking about it since. We love them. I’ve no idea what we’ll do when they leave in September.
Being the mum of a 3 year old – S is so chatty and fun to be around lately, we have the most amazing conversations and she tells me all sorts of fun things. Best of all, when she goes to bed at night she’s started telling me “I love you lots!” which is possibly the best thing I could ever hear her say.
What are you grateful for this week?

I am glad that she has now recovered but I agree cuddles are fab. Your trail pics over the weekend looked fab Becky Willoughby (@LakesSingleMum) recently posted...Reasons to be Cheerful: I am back online!! #R2BC
You really do have a beautiful relationship with your child, that is something to be VERY cheerful about. I hope she's feeling better now, because I have loved the pictures with her and the barons! xx Ojo Henley recently posted...Heartbreaking Pride
