Reasons to be Cheerful 2015-07-02
How has your week been? Mine has been moving a lot more slowly than the last few weeks – and I’ve got a lot more done, so I’m happy!
Here are my reasons to be cheerful this week:
Good Moods – the last few days S has woken up in an absolutely cracking mood and we’ve had a fantastic time together. I think perhaps our hectic June got to her more than either of us realised, so we’re enjoying reconnecting and having lots of fun together.
Smashing Targets – One of my goals for June was to maintain my income level for May. I didn’t want to set myself the goal of increasing it, because I knew it was going to be a really hectic month… but guess what? Invoice-wise, I increased my income by £200!
Periscope – Oh my word, I am loving periscope right now! I’ve discovered that I can half-watch people’s broadcasts during the day while I’m working, and it’s more interesting and inspiring than listening to the radio or having random stuff on YouTube – or being tempted to watch TV! I’m going to experiment today with watching periscopes and listening to podcasts while in a cafe in town (on headphones, obvs) so that I can get maximum amounts of work done!
