As I’ve mentioned in other posts recently, I’m really trying to smarten up my act when it comes to my appearance. I’ve been buying new clothes so that when I go out to see clients I feel more confident that I look “the part” when I arrive at an event or appointment. I find that wearing smarter clothes that I feel comfortable in helps me to be more confident about talking to people about what I do – and so I come across as more confident and someone worth listening to.

Here are some of the clothes I’ve been wearing lately…

If I’m honest, I’m not sure my comfy Hey Dude Shoes actually go with this outfit; I’ve been thinking about buying some new sandals… but they’re just so comfy – and they cover a multitude of sins in the nail varnish department!

I’m not too big on jewellery, so I tend to just team them with something something natural and simple – I’ve not quite reached the point of statement pieces yet!

Neither of these outfits is particularly ground-breaking on the style front; I’m still finding my feet with the whole “fashion” thing so am opting for plain colours and simple styles. I struggle with finding clothes I like, that look reasonable when I get them home – as such I own several pairs of black jeggings, and also a coral pink one that I’ve never actually worn out of the house!

Do you have trouble putting outfits together? What shoes do you think would work better with my first outfit?

Even as a creator of silver jewellery I am only ever seen with my very simple but extremely sentimental silver necklaces.
Try wearing a smart outfit on the school run as it really confuses people!

I love these outfits – simple is best sometimes.
