Weekly Wishes 2015-03-16

How’s your March going? Mine is going fairly wonderfully, as it happens! Let’s recap my monthly goals first…

Goals for March

Earn More Money – Still working on this one… My plan is to get more money in through the blog – since my blog is where my passion lies. I’m having fun with it all, in any case.

Maintain The Blog Pace -I published 18 posts last week. Fewer than the week before, but still quite a lot! I do feel a bit like I’m losing momentum though, as my attention is split between the blog and plans for books, podcasts, my business website and a gazillion other ideas buzzing around my head.

Sort The Living Room! – Hmm. Let’s come back to this next week!

Last Week’s Weekly Goals

Hustle! – Well, I think I have done a fair bit of hustling this week – in terms of promoting myself, my business and the blog. There’s always room for improvement though!
Research Blog Posts – On Friday I spent two hours travelling, and that time was spent researching and planning – not just blog posts, but a book. Those two hours were probably the most productive of my week!
Sort the Toys – Nope. This basically comes down to the fact that whenever we unearth toys S hasn’t played with in a while, she remembers how awesome they are and starts playing with them again – and when she does that, I feel bad for wanting to get rid of them! Ditto for her growing collection of books. I do need to be a bit more cut-throat about this though, or it will get out of control really quickly!

This week’s goals

Do Some Serious Tidying – Big S is coming to visit at the weekend, and although she wouldn’t judge us, she’s probably one of the few people whose opinion matters to me. I don’t want her to think her namesake is living in a junk shop!
Work On The Book – Last week, after months (if not years) of thinking “I really want to write a book” I got on and started one, after planning it on the train. This week, I want to maintain that momentum and make good progress with it.
Work Efficiently – I actually don’t have a huge amount on this week, as far as I can recall. So I should manage to get on top of all my weekly work, and even (perhaps) get a little ahead of myself. I keep saying I want to get ahead, but have yet to manage it… Watch this space!
Have you set any goals this week? I’d love to hear how you’re getting on!

I love traveling or commuting time for that reason! Reading a book or getting work done seems easier somehow when you're sitting in a vehicle with not much else to do. That's exciting news about your book too! Good luck writing this week, and with your others goals too Vicky! Robyn Petrik recently posted...7 Ways to Keep Writing When You Feel StuckMy Profile

Writing a book?! That is so exciting... I can't wait to hear more about it! Sometimes long car rides are the best time to be super productive. Wishing you luck with everything you want to accomplish this week! xoxo Kat
