Reasons to be Cheerful 2015-03-12
How has your week been? Been up to much? I’ve been… working! But it’s been fun! Here are my reasons to be cheerful this week:
Exorcising Unwanted Ghosts – S is almost 3, and I’ve had this blog for two years. I’ve written about all sorts of stuff but I had never written about my pregnancy. I didn’t want to think about it or remember what went on. This week, I bit the bullet and wrote about it. I feel like the last thing I had to deal with is dealt with.
Amazing Generosity – A while back, I decided I’d like to get a proper camera, rather than rely on my crappy mobile with a broken screen to take photos of S. The only problem with this decision was that good cameras tend to be fairly pricy. The other day, a family friend came round. She is moving house and having a clear out, and she had a couple of bits and bobs for S… and “this camera is too technical for me, I never use it; do you want it?” How amazing is that?! I could have died when I opened it and realised it was a “proper” camera! I’m really enjoying playing with it!
Motivation – I’ve actually been motivated to work out and eat more healthily this week! That’s a feeling I’ve not had for a long time, but I’m really enjoying that feeling you get when you finish a workout, and you know you’ve worked hard. Hopefully it will continue!
