Reasons to be Cheerful

Hooray, February is finally here! Spring is on the way, people! How has your week been? Mine has been really hectic, even with a day off yesterday I feel like I’ve not had time to stop and take stock. I’m looking forward to hopefully chilling out a little this weekend! Let’s talk about my reasons to be cheerful this week…

Hatching Plans – I have several things in the pipeline at the moment; collaborations with various different people. Some are moving faster than others, unfortunately! One in particular though, is going ahead very quickly. I had a great meeting this week with my two co-conspirators, and we’re setting things up, getting ready to go in a couple of weeks. Exciting, but also a little scary. The good kind of scary though!

Nana’s House – My mum moved house last month. I live in the city (Salisbury, not some massive, sprawling metropolis), and my mum has always lived in a town three miles away. The buses are not fantastic, and it’s always been a bit of a pain in the bum to visit her. Now she’s moved, and is about three blocks away from us. S is really enjoying being able to go to Nana’s house on our days off or even after nursery for a quick visit. My mum’s place is still a novelty for her, and the living room is full of unfamiliar toys. She even gets to play with her cousin E there sometimes too!

Being Healthier – I only started my February health and fitness challenge a few days ago, but already I am feeling better. I think I’d gotten into such bad habits, I was living on crap a lot of the time and got to the point where I would sit and crave fresh vegetables or a nice crunchy salad. It’s not that I wasn’t eating fruit and vegetables, just that I wasn’t eating anywhere near enough of them! I did a food shop the other day, and now my fridge is filled with fruit and vegetables. I’ve got steak for tea tonight, and I can’t wait! Nom nom nom…

Thank you! It's amazing how much better it can make you feel to just not eat junk - ironic since when I feel rubbish, all I want is junk!

Ah, we have stairs and my mum is not so steady on her feet. She comes round sometimes but it's more fun for S to go to her house!

Great reasons to be cheerful. Look forward to seeing all your plans hatching. I writing of the plan is always easy, it's putting it in yo action while looking after home & kids which takes all the time. Candace recently posted...My Sunday Photo (8 February 2015)My Profile
