Weekend Blog Hop 2014-11-29

Weekend Blog Hop

Oh, my word. By the end of this weekend, December will be upon us!

Have you all got your Advent calendars ready?

Don’t forget, if you’re reading this on Saturday then why not join in with #ArchiveDay on Twitter?

Also don’t forget to follow @WeekendBlogHop on Twitter – if you tag us in your tweets about the blog hop, we’ll RT you! If you run a linky or Twitter party through the week, tweet us @WeekendBlogHop, and we will RT your links.

The Bloggers’ Showcase this week is this post from Love Think Thrive.

Love Think Thrive

I often think that if all children were taught some form of meditation at school, it would solve around 90% of our day-to-day problems within a generation. When I am meditating regularly, I notice a marked difference in the way I think and feel. Mindfulness is a great way to keep oneself grounded and aware without getting drawn into random panics or obsessions over nothing. If we could teach this to all children, just imagine how much more easily they could cope with… well, everything!

And now, on with the Weekend Blog Hop!

This week we’re doing an Instagram linky; please link up your Instagram account in the second linky, and also follow my Instagram and Laura’s Instagram account.

We don’t really go for a whole load of rules and regulations, but we would like to stress that this is for links to your blog’s front page only. Please do not add links to specific pages or posts! Links to individual pages will not be commented on, and are liable to be removed from the blog hop without prior warning.

In order for this to work, we all need to play an active part in the blog hop. Please don’t just link and run! We would ask that you visit and comment on at least the two entries before you in the blog hop. If you are adding your link to the Twitter section, please follow the two Twitter accounts ahead of you.

Don’t forget, if you tweet your entry tagging @WeekendBlogHop, we will RT you!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Vicky, teaching children to meditate is not a bad suggestion at all, after all there are classes for children's yoga and massaging young children is a great stress reliever too. I can't believe it's December tomorrow either...Where has the year gone? I much prefer the build up to Christmas Day than the day itself as once we get there is almost over!
